AGLanta - Controlled Environment Agriculture Conference

Blue Planet Consulting and the City of Atlanta are hosting an urban agriculture conference for the Atlanta Community. Our goal is to bring together the Atlanta community to share and elevate best practices in urban and controlled environment agriculture. There will be workshops, panel discussions, and exhibitors. Our keynote speaker is Stephen Ritz from the Green Bronx Machine. Contact GT Alum Jeffrey Landau about possible discounts for members of the Georgia Tech Community.

Biomimicry Global Design Challenge Information Session

Monday February 20th, 6-7 p.m., Scheller College of Business, Room 312

GT’s Center for Biologically Inspired Design and the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business are hosting an info session to inspire Yellow Jacket participation in the Biomimicry Global Design Challenge! This annual team competition focuses on addressing critical business and sustainability issues with nature-inspired solutions. Participation in the challenge is open to professionals and students from around the globe. All participants get access to a collection of biomimicry resources and Georgia Tech is planning a workshop to support interested individuals or teams. Cross functional business, science, and engineering perspectives are needed!

Net Impact Local: Georgia Tech Conference

Saturday, March 4, 10:00 AM – 6:45 PM, Scheller College of Business, First Floor Atrium

You are invited to Net Impact Local: Georgia Tech, a one-day conference for those who are interested and passionate about making a lasting social and environmental impact. This conference is hosted by the Georgia Tech MBA Net Impact chapter, and is open to the public. Join us for inspiring keynote speakers, panel discussions with sustainability leaders, and plenty of opportunities to network with other Net Impacters! Tickets are $10 until Feb. 17, and $20 afterward. Volunteer opportunities are available. Check out the event on Facebook, as we will be updating this leading up to the conference!
